PrimeBlade® 500 series is our refined stainless steel and the blade to choose when corrosion is an issue. It is excellent choice to combat rust/oxidation problems when using water-based inks. It is also a great choice to reduce fast oxidation of the blade tip and when using abrasive inks and coatings. It is produced with an excellent particle microstructure and denser particle distribution which helps improve blade life and avoid steel particle contamination of the inking system. This is a hardened stainless steel which is heat treated to achieve high quality standards and to optimise print quality.
